PTO News
Please continue to save Box Tops and Tyson A+ for Education labels over the summer. There will be a classroom contest this coming fall. All money raised will be used to update computers in our MVES Computer Lab.
SACC Program
Applications are now available for next year’s School Age Child Care (SACC) program, the before- and after-school care program here at Mountain View ES. SACC will transition from county operation to Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) beginning September 1. There is no increase in the weekly cost per student. A SACC program brochure, which includes the new application, can be downloaded from the Prince William County Web - click here. While Minnieland Private Day School will continue to provide the daily administration of the program, one of the new features will be an enhanced educational component in which certified instructional staff from our school will provide enrichment and remediation to participants, increasing the alignment with the Division’s instructional program. Other enhancements being developed include increased scholarships, electronic sign in/sign out, and optional electronic payment.
Pixie 2 for Students
Parents are able to purchase Tech4Learning software packages at significant savings through the Tech4Learning Parent Purchase Program! This program makes it easy and affordable for students to continue their learning at home, using the same Tech4Learning tools available on our school computers. All students use Pixie2 and next year, students in the upper grades will be using Frames. Click here for ordering information.
